Key Responsibilities
As the first Revenue Operations Manager at CarbonChain, you will play a pivotal role in designing and scaling our revenue operations function. This is an exciting opportunity to build processes and frameworks from the ground up, enabling the Go-to-Market (GTM) team to operate efficiently and drive predictable, scalable growth. Reporting to the Head of Sales , you will be a strategic partner across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, ensuring alignment, data-driven insights, and operational excellence across the customer lifecycle.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Operational Foundations: Establish a best-in-class RevOps function, creating scalable processes for lead management, pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into GTM performance metrics, enabling leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Tech Stack Enablement: Audit, optimize, and manage our GTM tech stack (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, customer success tools) to support the needs of the business.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to streamline handoffs, reduce friction, and align teams around shared goals.
- Territory & Quota Planning: Support territory design, capacity planning, and quota setting to ensure fair distribution of opportunities and optimal resource allocation.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in GTM workflows and implement solutions that improve productivity and effectiveness across the organization.

Desired Background & Experience
- Experience: 2-4 years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a similar role in a B2B SaaS or technology company, ideally with experience supporting early-stage or scaling organizations.
- Data Mastery: Strong analytical skills with expertise in CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or BI platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
- Systems Savvy: Hands-on experience managing GTM tech stacks, including integrations, workflows, and user adoption.
- Process-Driven Mindset: Proven ability to design and optimize workflows, with a keen eye for process improvement and attention to detail.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of working effectively across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think both strategically and tactically, with a focus on delivering long-term, scalable solutions.
- Growth Mindset: Eagerness to take ownership, experiment, and learn in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Preferred, but not essential:
- Experience working in a climate tech or sustainability-focused organization.
- Knowledge of SQL or experience working with large datasets.
- Familiarity with financial modeling, quota planning, or headcount planning.
