Are you based in the Glasgow NORTH/EAST area?
Do you have Branch Management experience gained in a Building Material Distributor?
Do you have experience leading teams of up to 12 staff?
MINSTER are a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Branch Director who is as passionate about great leadership and builds strong customer relationships.
Hours – 7am – 5pm Monday to Friday
127 Craighall Road (relocating to London Road, East End this summer)
Glasgow
G4 9TP
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and support the team to deliver success and promote opportunities for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with the wider network to support Customer requirements and business activities
- Adjust the nature of services delivered according to developments in customer needs and expectations
- Build effective relationships with suppliers
- Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth
- Ensure accurate stock levels are maintained, carrying out regular stock counts
- Lead your team to make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work

Required Skills and Experience
- Previous leadership experience within Building Material distributor
- Driving Licence is required
- First and foremost, we always want to recruit great people that really understand our values and ways of working.
- It is important you have can evidence experience in motivating and driving sales for this role.
- You will already have strong communication and commercial awareness to be able to empower the team to provide great customer service.
