We are looking for
A proactive Warehouse Area Manager to join our expanding Warehouse Team in Corby! You will oversee daily automation operations of the warehouse, focusing on financial and administrative management to maximize efficiency and profitability.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling of financial and administrative tasks to maximize team performance and profitability.
- Managing your team closely, identifying, anticipating, and resolving operational issues within your shift.
- Exceeding customer expectations and driving customer satisfaction.
- Using data and insights to develop innovative solutions.
- Updating SOP training modules to match current procedures, managing change control, and developing training plans, ensuring proper SOP sign-off.
- Monitoring and improving SLA and KPI performance to meet or exceed targets.
- Maintaining and improving inventory accuracy within the automation department, addressing issues proactively.
- Conducting regular communication briefings with your team to share company updates and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Leading health and safety initiatives, performing checks and audits, and managing incident investigations including root cause analysis.
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations related to stock held by the contract.
- Managing absence, performance, and disciplinary issues, including conducting one-to-ones, probation reviews, and appraisals.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement through initiatives and projects to enhance warehouse operations.
Ideal candidate:
- Extensive experience in 3PL warehouse management, including financial and administrative aspects.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems and SOP updates.
- Strong analytical and strategic skills for assessing needs, optimizing capacity, and driving performance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills for team management and customer relations.
- Experienced in leading safety initiatives and incident investigations.
- Knowledge of HMRC regulations and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
