Pearse Professionals are working with a high-growth VC backed FinTech business in seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join their Finance team.

You will report into senior finance leadership, and your remit will span financial planning & analysis, forecasting, scenario modelling, management reporting, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
  • Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards and scenario analyses
  • Perform variance analysis, profitability assessments, trend analysis and present actionable insights
  • Collaborate with department heads to collect assumptions and integrate business drivers
  • Support strategic projects, product launches, pricing strategies, and potential M&A work
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly management reports and board materials
  • Oversee / mentor junior FP&A staff and promote process improvements
  • Ensure alignment of financial processes with accounting, reporting, and controls functions

The Ideal Candidate

  • Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CFA) or equivalent
  • Solid experience in FP&A, ideally within technology, fintech, insurtech or high-growth businesses
  • Strong modelling, forecasting and scenario planning skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with BI / planning tools or ERP systems
  • Excellent communication skills, able to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and juggle multiple priorities
  • Leadership experience and ability to mentor more junior team members
