Our General Insurance team at DWF provides expertise in Casualty, Disease, Criminal Defence, EL/PL & RTA and is currently seeking an Associate Solicitor to handle a caseload of criminal defence cases involving RTA prosecutions.
Responsibilities
As an Associate Solicitor in our General Insurance team, you will engage in a wide range of activities, such as:
- Managing a caseload of predominantly criminal defence cases, primarily RTA related.
- Assessing civil personal injury defence cases where necessary.
- Prioritising work effectively to maximise efficiency, adhering to court deadlines and client service level agreements.
- Building relationships internally and externally to develop networks and understand client needs.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Desirable Criteria
– 1+ years PQE, preferably within criminal defence.
– Some experience in civil defence work is desirable but not essential.
