Whether in Procurement, sourcing vital products and services, or Supply Chain, managing Logistics Operations and Fulfilment, you will ensure seamless operations for our iconic vehicles across our global footprint while prioritising sustainable initiatives. Working with cross-functional teams, you\’ll be part of how we drive efficiencies and implement industry-leading practices. Help us create the exceptional.
You will manage the planning and delivery phase of all upfront facility programs for JLR across our MLA / JEA / EMA and D7 Platforms.
In addition to this you will have industrialisation responsibility for all programs into our Nitra site and will therefore require an amount of travel to Nitra Slovakia.
WHAT TO EXPECT
In this role, no two tasks are the same. With lots of projects and relationships to build with people across the business and beyond. You will be heavily involved in stakeholder management and cross functional working.
Here’s what to expect:
• Support the development of the Trim &Final facility engineering strategy for JLR manufacturing sites
• Manage all upfront facility programs across our MLA / JEA / EMA and D7 platform rage
• Complete feasibility and cost evaluations for proposed new or modified facilities, feeding into programme capex submissions ensuring value for money at all times
• Drive product design solutions based on Bill of facility requirements ensuring alignment with Bill of process
• Develop and deliver engineering solutions that align with Trim &Final Facility strategy ensuring statutory and legal compliance at all times and ensuring all acceptance and buy off is achieved to plan
• Responsible for the industrialisation of all programs into Nitra for process / facility / IE – Accountable for the delivery of programs from PSC – VB Exit
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:
• A sound engineering and manufacturing background with previous experience in Facilities & Process Development in Engineering
• Experience and understanding of facilities processes, equipment and leading technologies
• Contract and performance management and management of Service Level Agreements
• Demonstrable experience of delivering both operational and strategic facilities management solutions in Engineering
• Experience of GSPAS & APT Development / BOP Feasibility Assessment / DFA DFM / PFMEA & Control Plans
• Project Management experience along with excellent communication skills
