Performance Marketing Manager, FlightStory

We are a media company and investment fund, and we’re on a mission to elevate the stories, build the communities, and support the founders that inspire a happier, healthier humanity. We scale creator-led new media IP and operate an investment fund and venture studio.

Mission:

Shape and execute performance marketing campaigns that cut through, drive audience growth, and maximise engagement across FlightStory’s products and shows. Owning paid media strategy across all platforms, this role ensures we reach the right audiences, in the right places, with messaging that converts. Success comes from relentlessly optimising campaigns, testing bold new approaches, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in digital marketing. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role works cross-functionally with content, business intelligence, and our FlightStory partner to deliver performance-driven marketing that fuels FlightStory’s growth and impact.

Outcomes:

  • Develop & execute performance marketing campaigns: Lead end-to-end digital marketing strategies across all platforms, focused on audience acquisition and engagement for FlightStory’s products and shows

  • Manage & optimise paid campaigns: Oversee the day-to-day execution, monitoring, and optimisation of paid media campaigns, ensuring key performance metrics are met and continuously improved

  • Lead creative development for paid media: Own the development and optimisation of ad creative, ensuring messaging, visuals, and formats are high-performing and data-driven

  • Cross-channel integration: Partner with CRM, organic social and production teams to ensure consistent messaging and a cohesive, data-driven digital strategy

  • Budget management & ROI optimisation: Work with the Head of Marketing to manage and allocate the performance marketing budget effectively, ensuring cost efficiency and maximum return on investment

  • Innovation & experimentation: Foster a culture of continuous testing, from A/B testing creative and copy to running incrementality tests and trialling new platforms to stay ahead of industry trends

  • Data-driven decision making: Leverage data and analytics to inform strategic decisions, refine audience targeting, and improve campaign performance. Produce regular reports and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations to key stakeholders

  • You manage budgets effectively, ensuring marketing spend is optimised for maximum ROI and scalable growth
