As a food safety and quality manager, you are a strong communicator and be able to influence senior stakeholders through thought leadership. Your remit would be to drive the global FSQR strategy in EMEA within production, distribution and company owned, franchised and licensed stores.
In this role you will be given the chance to shape the future of food safety and quality within Starbucks EMEA. What\’s important to you is making a positive impact and executing the global and EMEA food safety and quality strategic plans across multiple product categories.
Collaborating with and managing licensees to ensure compliance with global food safety standards from sourcing through to store.
You thrive supporting suppliers, distribution centres, and EMEA stores in maintaining safe, legal, and compliant operations—minimizing regulatory and reputational risks.
To excel in this role, you\’ll need to be courageous in making difficult decisions and challenging the status quo. This role requires an individual who is motivated by driving continuous improvement and achieving measurable goals.

  • Experience working in large markets or across multiple sites in food or beverage
  • A background in quality assurance is essential
  • Balancing business goals with legal and regulatory responsibilities.
  • Communicating clearly and effectively, both in writing and speaking.
  • Thinking critically and solving problems with a sharp, analytical mindset.
  • Staying focused and adaptable in fast-changing or uncertain situations.
  • Working well both independently and as part of a team
  • A degree in nutrition or a food related discipline
  • Stakeholder management and ability to partner with a variety of business functions
  • Strong analytical skills to set KPIs, identify data trends, draw lessons learned, report accurately and make recommendations grounded in facts and insights
