Job Summary:
Disney+ is The Walt Disney Company\’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) video entertainment service, offering premium branded content alongside a broad general entertainment library, appealing to families and adults alike. The service consists of long form and short form video built around six key content brands (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star) with an appealing and easy to use interface accessed across multiple platforms (e.g. smart TVs, mobile devices).
Following on from an extremely successful launch phase for the Disney+ advertising-supported tier, we are looking to expand our team. The Senior Manager, Data Partnerships is a new position which sits within the Audience Measurement and Insights (AM&I) team, and whose focus will be to help define and implement the data and measurement roadmap to drive our Disney+ advertising revenues, drawing on experience gained from within the adtech measurement ecosystem.
This role will work hand-in-hand with the Disney Advertising sales team, as well as advertising agencies and clients, in identifying, integrating and scaling solutions across multiple data providers to plan, measure and optimize campaign performance, driving ROI for our clients and revenues for our EMEA business.
This position requires someone to work from our Hammersmith offices 4 days a week.
The Opportunity & Responsibilities:
- Help define data and measurement roadmap and lead prioritisation of EMEA data partnerships against revenue goals
- Ensure our range of partners reflects EMEA regional and local market needs, as well as across key verticals
- Work with Global Data and Measurement Sciences team across onboarding process
- Lead day-to-day EMEA data partner relationships and collaborations
- Champion best use of data solutions, acting as a consultant for clients and internal stakeholders across the planning and buying ecosystem
- Deliver solutions to the highest standards of measurement and data quality, ensuring effective rigour around evaluation and implementation within privacy and GDPR requirements
- In partnership with our global and EMEA teams, create Disney POVs on third party data providers to guide decisions on partnerships and engagements
- Partner with sales enablement in providing clear narratives for frontline sales in taking solutions to market
- Key collaborator with Disney\’s Global Data and Measurement Sciences team, EMEA Business Operations, Legal, Privacy and the wider Disney Advertising department.
The Experience We Require From You
- Deep understanding of the adtech data and measurement ecosystem from experience within the commercial data, programmatic or media industries
- Extensive experience in working across data partnerships framework – 1P data platforms, identity solutions, clean rooms, partner onboarding
- Led initiatives to expand audience targeting capabilities (e.g. retail media)
- Understanding of HoldCos data strategies and products
- Experience of working for or with DSPs
- Independently manage end-to-end projects with minimal direction
- Confident in presenting findings to senior-level stakeholders – face-to-face or written
- Highly collaborative and Articulate
