UK&I Large Merchant and Acquirers is a team dedicated to meeting the needs of our Large Merchant and Acquiring partners. The goal is for clients to view Visa as a trusted strategic partner that delivers tangible value and is straightforward to work with . Our actions are aimed at protecting and increasing payment volume and revenue contributions, enhancing the perceived value by merchants and balancing the needs of all stakeholders. Our team\’s focus is on commercializing both existing and new merchant & acquirer relationships to drive Visa\’s revenue.
This senior role provides the opportunity to lead engagement and strategy in specific merchant sectors. You will develop and manage key relationships, support needs, and drive business growth aligned to targets. Reporting to the Head of Merchant Sectors, you\’ll collaborate with broader Visa teams to deliver high-profile strategies. As a part of the broader Merchant Sales & Acquiring org, you will use account leadership, consultative selling, and strategic thinking to provide solutions, enable new flows, and expand acceptance.
What we expect of you, day to day.
- Adopt a client centric sales strategy, building strong and mutual value with some of Visa\’s most strategically important merchant partners
- Take accountability for a portfolio of clients which includes key Pan-European Merchants
- Establish SME status for sectors and related strategy internally at Visa, driving cross-functional engagement to progress and secure opportunities at pace
- Drive positive business outcomes β establish fluency in Visa seller solutions and effectively articulate all aspects of Visa value proposition.
- Reporting excellence β ensure accurate and up to date reporting using preferred CRM platforms.
- Continuously review market landscape and recommend, develop, and implement new creative approaches to growing the business
- Strive to deliver Visa goals and be a senior role model for Visaβs leadership principles.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
