Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Ongoing position in South East London

£97 - £115 per day

Social, emotional & cognitive support for students with various SEMH-related needs.

  • Supporting student/students in developing their social, emotional and cognitive skills
  • Liaising with the class teacher, SENCO & wider community professionals (e.g. Educational Psychologist) to ensure students are on track
  • Supporting the team in creating a progressive & welcoming learning environment
  • Working with student/students in various year groups with learning disabilities (Autism, ADHD) as well as Mental Health needs

  • Holds a high conversion rate of graduates who started as SEN TAs to now practising Psychologists (e.g. Clinical, Educational etc)
  • Regular training e.g. Safeguarding, SEN Awareness etc

The ideal candidate:

  • Academic individual - holds a degree in a related field
  • Prior experience working with students (ideal but not essential)
  • Understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Empathetic, pro-active & ambitious (must)
  • Aspiring to pursue a career in Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, Counselling, Pastoral Work
