KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title: Supply Chain and Logistics Trainer Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)*Trainee or Qualified Assessor opportunity*Location: Birmingham and surrounding areasSalary: £28,000 – £30,000 (Dependent on skills and experience)Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage, Pension + moreType: Full Time, Permanent For trainee candidates; this is a great opportunity to transition to a new and rewarding career within the training industry! Drawing on the wealth of experience you have within the Supply Chain/Logistics sector, to deliver vocational qualifications to learners.Full training and support will be given to trainee candidates to achieve the Assessor award, upon achievement salary will be reviewed.Essential Criteria:
  • Ideally hold a recognised Assessor Award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
  • Experience of delivering in-house training within a Supply Chain/Logistics environment.    
  • Must be confident to deliver Functional Skills Maths, English and ICT.
  • Must hold strong occupational competency within logistics / supply chain.
  • Flexible to meet the needs of learners working hours.
  • Full clean driving licence and own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.

Duties:

  • Assess and support learners working towards full Apprenticeship Standards in Supply Chain, Logistics and Improvement Practitioner Levels 2 and 3 (Level 4 if competent).
  • Deliver and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English at Level 2.
  • Delivering via a mix of face to face, remote and workshop delivery.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Work to learner review and completion timescales.
  • Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
