An excellent new opportunity has become available for a Senior Project Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Dundee. You will be joining an established Engineering team working on innovative products and solutions. This is an opportunity to join a company who are expanding and working on projects both locally and globally. As the Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for developing manufacturing processes whilst ensuring cost effectiveness of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure manufacturing readiness by participating in new product introduction projects.
- Interact with design engineering to ensure issues are addressed and added to new designs.
- Liaise efficiently with Engineering teams.
- Design, develop and implement efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes.
- Conduct FMEAs, capability studies and control plans.
- Manage project timelines, budgets and resources.
- Provide technical support and training when required.
- Ensure manufacturing processes adhere to al industry standards.
Essential:
- Degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering/ manufacturing discipline.
- Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- String understanding of manufacturing principles/ lean manufacturing and six sigma.
- Process simulation software (beneficial).
- Experience with new product introduction and process development.
Salary:
- £50-55K
