Job Description
Macildowie Procurement, Supply Chain & LogisticsContract / Project Manager (Joinery/Fit-Out) – Up to £65,000 – NottinghamshireMonday – Friday, 8am 5pmMacildowie Procurement has recently partnered with an organisation based in Nottinghamshire to recruit a Contract / Project Manager.The key objective is to comfortably lead on multiple fit-out projects, whilst reviewing and negotiating contracts in a hospitality fit-out environment.Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the project has been programmed in detail to avoid unnecessary risk and increase project success and profitability.
- Oversee sub-contractors to ensure the resource matches the outputs as set out in the project program.
- Manage and oversee the execution of the contract in accordance with policies and procedures, ensuring all services are delivered to the agreed standards and within budget.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, fostering strong relationships and ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Conduct regular meetings and reviews to discuss performance, feedback, and opportunities for improvement.
- Build supplier relationships, whilst managing and negotiating supplier contracts.
- Partnering with the CAD design team, ensuring that technical drawing specifications match the project fit-out.
- Drive site progress and quality standards through regular visits and reporting.
The Candidate
- Previous experience in a similar role working in Joinery or Fit-Out environments.
- Able to travel to Nottingham and supplier sites.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office including Excel.
- Ability to manage budgets, valuations, variations, and cost reporting.
- Degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Sage ERP experience Desirable
