As an integral role within the business, the Director of Rooms will lead all aspects of the Rooms Division to ensure the daily operation of the hotel, provides a high level of guest service executing the strategic plans and goals. As an active member of the hotel Leadership Team, while reporting to the GM, you will lead the Front Office and Housekeeping teams with a strong focus on setting high standards and delivering excellent customer service. Our Director of Rooms will ensure that Room Division operations are run in a smooth, efficient manner in line with guest expectations to ensure customer satisfaction and be accountable for overall compliance & performance of the teams including guest experience, workforce planning (including rostering) and departmental service delivery. To succeed as a Director of Rooms, you will need: To have managed one or more hotel departments for 5+ years in a similar environment Leadership experience of or within a large team Proven track record with success at training and implementation of process and audit Thorough knowledge of statutory regulations ensuring the business is always operated within the law.
