Futureheads have partnered with a SaaS scale up who are in a period of growth, they are now looking for a Senior QA Engineer.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you’ll be a hands-on technical contributor within a cross-functional team, working closely with engineers, product managers, and designers. You’ll define test criteria, design robust test cases, and build automated test suites for both web and mobile features. Your impact will be felt across the entire product lifecycle—from early discovery and risk identification to release readiness and regression prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
Shape and promote a culture of quality across engineering squads.
Help define the automation strategy, test coverage, and regression prevention approach.
Design and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, Postman, and other modern frameworks.
Collaborate in discovery sessions, testability reviews, and acceptance criteria definition.
Investigate bugs, document defects clearly, and verify fixes.
Pair with engineers to reproduce edge cases and validate changes.
Continuously improve the reliability and coverage of regression tests.
Contribute to performance, security, and exploratory testing as needed.

We’re Looking For:
4+ years’ experience in QA, SDET, or Quality Engineering roles (ideally SaaS/product).
Strong hands-on experience testing REST APIs and modern UIs.
Proficiency with automation tools (Playwright, Postman, or similar).
Confidence reading and writing code (preferably PHP or JavaScript).
Skilled in designing and executing structured test cases and exploratory sessions.
Comfortable querying databases with SQL.
Clear, constructive communicator who thrives in agile, cross-functional teams.
Bonus: Experience with mobile app testing (Flutter), security testing tools (OWASP ZAP), performance testing (Gatling), or test management platforms (Xray).
Bonus: Knowledge of housing, compliance, or safety-critical software domains.
Salary and office info:
4 days/week in the London Farringdon office (Mon–Thu), Fridays are meeting-free with early finish.£45-65K dependant upon experienceTime Off: 25 days’ annual leave plus birthday leave and statutory holidays.
