Job Description
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Qualification (AET, PTLLS) and / or a recognised Assessor Award (CAVA, TAQA, A1 etc.)
- Must hold a current or recently expired SIA Licence .
- Experience of coaching/training or mentoring Security Professionals.
- Must hold Level 3 in First Aid.
- Must hold Level 3 Conflict Management and Physical Intervention.
- Must possess a sound knowledge of SIA regulations and industry standards.
- Occupational competency in Security, within the last 5 years.
- Driver, with own vehicle (flexible with travel)
Duties include:
- Teach / assess learners in a classroom-based environment, who are working towards SIA approved training courses (Door Supervisor, Event Stewarding and First Aid, Conflict Management and Physical Intervention).
- Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
- Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
- Keep abreast of changes within SIA regulations and industry best practice.
- Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
