We\’re on the hunt for a creative, entrepreneurial General Manager to lead the team at the newest addition to our managed estate β€” The Wilbraham Arms in Alsager.

Set on the site of a former Cheshire farmhouse and named after a well-known local family, The Wilbraham Arms is a welcoming, family-friendly community pub. Following a full refurbishment to an exceptional standard, the site is set to reopen in the winter with a fresh new look and feel.

We’re looking to bring our General Manager on board now, ahead of the reopening. This will allow time for training in other Robinsons pubs, giving you the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in our values and culture. You\’ll then work closely with our recruitment team to hand-pick and build a brand-new team β€” ready to relaunch the pub and lead it to success.

The successful candidate will embrace the autonomy given to run your business and offer unique ideas to drive your team to success. You will have a genuine passion for exceptional customer service and a pro-active approach to team management. You will recruit & develop your team to ensure they have the knowledge needed to delight our customers.

Applicants must have an eye for detail and be prepared to lead from the front. Good stock control and a proven record of having a tight grasp of the P&L in their previous roles is a must and driving wet and dry sales to develop year-on-year growth is vital.
