Job Description
We are collaborating with a leading law firm that is seeking a talented Learning & Development Specialist and Coach for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is pivotal in facilitating world-class business and management learning programmes across the firm. You will be actively involved in the full learning life cycle process, including scoping, setting objectives, scripting, designing approaches, creating prototypes, conducting reviews, utilising tools, and evaluating outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify the learning and development needs for Trainees, Apprentices, and fee earners up to three years post-qualification experience (PQE), as well as individuals at equivalent levels within Business Services.
- Co-lead development programmes for Trainees, Apprentices, and fee earners up to three years PQE across the firm, and individuals at equivalent levels within Business Services.
- Coach individuals, including Associates, Advisors, and Specialists, as well as others across the firm as required.
- Co-design and continuously evolve business and management programmes.
- Facilitate psychometrics and emotional intelligence assessments.
- Deliver core business skills and management training programmes, covering topics such as:
- Personal effectiveness
- Effective communication skills
- Performance management
- Financial and commercial awareness
- Consultative selling and business development
- Delivering an excellent client experience
- Mentoring for success
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in confidently facilitating learning and development programmes and sessions to key internal stakeholders across different levels.
- A track record of personal development and growth.
- A coaching qualification from an accredited organisation.
- Experience in providing learning solutions in a large multi-stakeholder business, preferably within Professional Services.
- Robust knowledge of business and management theory and practice.
- Digital learning experience.
