The Highstreet Sales Lead is our most high-impact and high-exposure role, working with an incredibly talented team to accelerate our business, partnering with senior leadership, shaping the core of our business, and building a legacy that transforms the future of beauty.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is High Street Lead, leading our Highstreet Sales Team of 12, and owning our Superdrug business, our Savers business, and our Boots business on Consumer Beauty. This role requires a strategic leader who can own the P&L, develop robust sell-in & sell-out strategies across Coty Luxury & CB brands, and lead a high-performing account management team. This position will work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to grow our business, and will report into our Senior Sales & Ecom Director on Consumer Beauty.
We’re looking for a dynamic and inspiring leader with a proactive, hands-on approach—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about driving transformation within business.
Your main focus:
-People first – Responsible for management, coaching and developing a high performing team of 12 with 3 direct reports, setting stretching goals, and building career paths and development plans for the team, delivering goals and business needs through an empowered and supported team
-Annual business planning – Responsible for our Annual Planning Process, building strategic growth plans by retailer and brand, that deliver net revenue and share growth in collaboration with our retail partners
-P&L ownership – Responsible for building and delivering against annual and quarterly sales targets, prioritizing a profitable P&L with close management of trade investment that optimizes return on investment
-Consumer first – Extract insights from data, identifying the implications and ideas for customer growth
-Retailer partnerships – Support the team to build robust and stretching JBPs with our strategic retail partners that mutually grow both businesses. Support the team develop and maintain strong retailer partnerships across multiple functions, culminating in Strat Days, and lead ‘Top to Top’ retailer meetings. Develop strategic projects with the customer to deliver future growth of the business
-Driving business transformation – Challenge the status quo and drive transformation to create value and growth
-Go to market – Full ownership of the go to market strategy working in partnership with cross functional teams to drive commercial competitive advantage for Coty
-New initiatives – Build strategic plans to deliver on business projects/grow specified categories of business to deliver short- and long-term company, customer and consumer objectives
-Business operations – Implement and maintain robust governance for business operations across finance, supply and account management
-Any other responsibilities as required associated with the channels that you are managing.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT
As an experienced High Street Lead, you like to create and own a strategy, build a high performing and energised team, and have strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, gaining energy from working in a fast-paced and diverse environment. Other than that, you:
-10+ years of experience in sales, commercial leadership, or retail account management, ideally within the beauty, cosmetics, or consumer goods industry.
-Exceptional commercial acumen – Prove track record in P&L management, budget planning, forecast and customer management
-Leadership – Represents a positive role model with ability to motivate, coach and inspire others. Recognised across the business as an exceptional leader and motivator of teams
-Results driven – focused on making things happen, proactive and drives their own success
-Adaptable to change – Individual works fast, is agile and able to adapt to challenges and change
-Entrepreneur mindset identifying white space and new growth opportunities
-High level of knowledge of UK retail environment
