Job title: Head of Paid Media
Department: Dazed Digital
Reporting to: Executive Director, Digital
Type: Permanent, full-time. At least two days a week in our London HQ.
Summary
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Paid Media to join our dynamic media team. This is a crucial delivery-focused role, requiring a hands-on approach to ensure our paid media campaigns are executed flawlessly, on time, and within budget. What You'll Do
– Lead the execution and optimisation of all paid media campaigns across various platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc), ensuring they align with overall business and client objectives.
– Be hands-on with campaign setup, management, monitoring, and reporting, diving deep into the data to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure efficient spend.
– Manage and mentor a small team of two, fostering their development and ensuring the team's collective success.
– Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including media planners, analysts, project directors, and salespeople, effectively managing expectations and communicating campaign performance.
– Own relationships with external platforms and vendors, ensuring access to beta opportunities and platform insights.
– Monitor campaign performance daily, identifying and addressing any issues promptly to ensure campaigns stay on track and deliver desired results.
– Oversee budget allocation and pacing, ensuring all campaigns adhere to financial guidelines and maximise ROI.
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and platform changes, recommending and implementing new methods as appropriate.
What You’ll Need
– Proven experience in a hands-on paid media role, with a strong track record of delivering successful campaigns. Experience with fashion and luxury brands is beneficial but not essential.
– Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and build strong collaborative relationships.
– Strong problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve campaign delivery issues calmly and effectively with stakeholders.
– Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a small team, providing guidance and support to achieve common goals.
– Deep expertise in various paid media platforms, including but not limited to Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, and programmatic platforms.
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
– Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to track and report on campaign performance.
– A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
