Job Description

Equifind is working with a dynamic and growing venture capital fund with a global footprint. Headquartered in Soho, the firm has an experienced, close-knit team and is now looking to bring on a Management Accountant to help support its next phase of growth.

This is a hands-on role with broad exposure across both corporate and fund finance. You'll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely management accounts, driving the budgeting and forecasting process, and playing a key role in ongoing financial reporting. You’ll also have regular interaction with key stakeholders across the business – from the investment team to external auditors, fund administrators, and tax advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts at the GP level.
  • Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Support the audit and tax process, working closely with external advisors.
  • Assist with fund-level reporting and liaise with administrators on NAVs and investor reports.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor cash flow and support treasury management.
  • Maintain and improve financial controls and accounting procedures.
  • Support regulatory reporting, including RegData filings.
  • Get involved in ad hoc projects, such as system upgrades and strategic initiatives.

Application Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience at a fund manager or in practice working with similar clients.
  • Strong accounting and financial analysis skills with a solid understanding of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS.
  • Advanced-level Excel skills and an interest in learning SQL, VBA or Python.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent report writing and able to confidently liaise with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proven stakeholder management experience and relationship building skills.
