Job Description
FX Options Middle Office
The job holder will provide daily operational support primarily for the FX Option Desk. The
job holder will also work closely with Finance, IT, Treasury and Compliance. The FX Options
Middle Office function is part of OTC Operations which currently consists of 7 people and is
an operations-based team that provides support to our various OTC desks and our internal
proprietary desk.
The Role
- Daily T+1 PnL data collection and calculation to key stakeholders
- Checking and reporting daily client margin calls
- Full life cycle of FX Option trades including trade validation, long form validation,
expiries, trade amendments etc
- Positional reconciliation of F2 positions (internal) versus external vendor platforms
- Creation and subsequent management of Trading Platform STP mappings.
- Distribution of client position statements.
- Internal distribution of daily utilization reports
- Calculating and verification of Client Monthly rebates
- Management of team inbox and subsequent resolution.
- Payment Netting with Liquidity Providers and Clients
- Dealing with ad hoc client requests.
- Participate in the departmental cross training plan as and when required.
- Managing post trade confirmation systems
- Identification and escalation of high-risk exceptions
Skills
