Job Description Hand Picker /n Are you solution orientated, communicative and able to work on your own or within a team? Do you want to work for a company who are proud, integral and ground breaking? /n The Non-Ferro Recovery Company (NRC) are a family owned company and are experts in the recovery of ferrous and non-ferrous metals from waste residues. We recover metals and pride ourselves with the most advanced machinery and mobile installations. At NRC, we are the link between waste processing and responsible recycling. /n We are looking for a Hand Picker to join our team in Cowdenbeath on a full time basis. /n As a Hand Picker you work within our installation team. Your main duties are sorting the different metals and keeping the installation clean. /n Your duties will include (but are not restricted to); /n /n – Sorting various minerals/raw materials such as aluminium, stainless steel and copper /n – Cleaning up the spills on and around the installation /n – Monitor the production process and in the event of a malfunction or obstruction, alarm/address the team leader /n – Help clean the installation manually at the end of the production day and/or during a malfunction and downtime /n – Being flexible in taking over other activities from colleagues /n – Ensuring maintenance and cleaning of your own workplace and installations during the day /n – Report any malfunctions or unsafe situations to the team leader /n – Complying with the NRC Safety Manual /n /n If you have experience sorting out metals, then this is an advantage but it isn’t essential as training will be given. /n For those seeking their next move and a long-term career path, APPLY NOW! /n Our reference: SE3472 /n Vacancy: Hand Picker /n Location: Cowdenbeath Fife /n Salary: £29,000 per annum based on a 48 hour week /n Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday (occasional Saturdays) /n Benefits: Company pension plan, generous holiday allowance and the opportunity for professional and personal growth
