Job Description

Are you ready to take full ownership of factory operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment? We're looking for a dynamic Production Manager to lead a manufacturing team in Croydon – someone who can drive performance, maintain high standards, and ensure they continue delivering top-quality products to their customers.

About the Role:

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of their factory operations, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. This is a critical leadership role where you’ll work closely with the Operations Director to shape the future of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of factory operations, including production, planning, and performance
  • Lead, coach, and develop production teams to meet KPIs and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and quality standards
  • Manage resource planning and shift performance to ensure output and efficiency
  • Collaborate with maintenance, technical, and supply chain functions to resolve issues and optimise productivity
  • Identify and implement process improvements across production operations

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in an FMCG or manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, OEE, and continuous improvement techniques
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and quality compliance
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
