ABOUT US:
OTG is a global talent management agency. We launched our talent division of the business in 2021 and are growing quickly – our talents’ reach spans 30M+ followers.
As a talent-first agency, we want to make sure that as we continue to grow, our talent managers’ rosters remain small so that our talent are provided with best-in-class service to support their careers. Our Junior Talent Managers are responsible for supporting managers on a small number of high priority talent in a thorough, organised and diligent manner, whilst beginning to build a talent roster of their own.
The role reports to either a Talent Manager or Senior Talent Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Support Talent Managers and/ or Senior Talent Managers on high priority talent across their rosters:
- Commercial content scheduling and work-related diary management for talent
- Manage talent email inboxes, scoping out initial enquiries, sharing media kits and fees
- Coordinate with the brand clients and talent on the creation, delivery and execution of commercial content
- Gather analytics, insights and feedback to share with brands post-campaign and create case studies
- Create and share tailored and targeted commercial partnership pitches with brands
- Handle all gifting and event invites for talent
- Independently manage a small roster of 2-3 talent of your own, conducting the above responsibilities for them, as well as:
- Proactively pitch, negotiate and secure commercial partnerships to target for your talent
- Draft and negotiate contracts for your talent with the support of a Talent Manager or Senior Talent Manager, as required
- Start building relationships with key agencies, brands and other third parties for and on behalf of your talent and the wider roster
- Begin to strategically identify opportunities for your talent to diversify their careers and revenue streams into other areas of media and entertainment
- Provide your talent with topline advice and insight on their content strategies – both organic and commercial
- With a solutions-focused mindset, handle any challenges with the support of a Talent Manager or Senior Talent Manager, as required
- Collaborate with senior members of the team to develop ambitious but realistic strategies for your talent, which are impactful, commercial and drive long-term, sustainable careers
- Embody OTG’s values and high standards when representing the agency both internally and externally
ABOUT YOU:
- A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in the talent management industry
- A clear understanding and passion for talent management, social media and brand partnerships
- Ability to identify emerging talent and trends within social media and entertainment
- Understand and confidently negotiate a majority of contracts
- Proven record of securing commercial partnerships and upselling
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication, and collaboration skills
- Must demonstrate a high quality of work performed both accurately and efficiently to deadlines
- Adaptable self-starter who is able to manage multiple projects and talent simultaneously with a persistent, determined and positive attitude
- Highly organised, proactive and pragmatic with day-to-day tasks
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ambitious and driven to achieve positive results
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, Canva and Google Drive
