Concrete Repair Operatives (Carbon fibre Concrete Technicians, CFRP).Following a significant increase in new work this company requires additional operatives to work on site installing carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) systems in existing structures to enable repairs and strengthening work.

Concrete Repair Operatives (Carbon fibre Concrete Technician)role:

Experienced Technicians to join the repairs division to work on a range of site projects across London and the south-east. The main duties of the role will involve driving from site to site, carrying out the repairs and recording operations before, during and after carrying out remedial work. You will be provided with additional training in the use of various specialist materials, equipment and undertaking in-situ testing.

Concrete scanning

Undertaking inspections and tests to the specified standard and procedure.

Keeping a clear and concise logbook of all siteworks complete and data recording.

Uploading all work documents, test data, site photos on to the company system

Keeping a timesheet and notes for each day of work. Planning and scheduling work as needed.

Producing detailed reports on inspections that have been done.

Planning upcoming work with method statements and drawings

The way that CFRP operates: Carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) systems are used for structurally strengthening concrete elements in buildings and infrastructure. The CFRP is embedded in an epoxy resin matrix and bonded to the surface of concrete beams, columns, walls, and slabs. CFRP is used on major retrofits, repairs and upgrades of car parks. Increasing load capacity of floor slabs in office buildings.
