A long-established and very successful metal forming company based in Willenhall in the West Midlands is looking for a Quality Control Apprentice to join its busy workforce.Recent refurbishment has made this the most modern facility in the UK, offering extensive in-house services to their clients.
Along with an hourly rate of £11.44 – £12.21 per hour, you will also receive 33 days holiday per annum (including Bank Holidays), to be taken during factory shutdown.
You will be working Monday-Thursday, 08:00-16:30 and Friday, 08:00-15:30.
As Quality Control Apprentice, your responsibilities will include:
- Manufacturing parts to high quality in relatively short lead times
- Setting and monitoring production controls as per Business Operating System
- Taking part and assisting in pre-production reviews
- Monitoring and measure sample production prior to volume manufacture
- Assisting in the completion of customer specific Initial Sample Review Reports (ISIR)
- Where applicable, assisting in completion of FAIR (First Article Inspection Reports) or customer dependent Part Submission Warranty Reports.
- Monitoring raw material condition during production and contamination containment
- Following training be active member of internal audit team and conduct feedback deviations from Business Operating System
- Assisting Quality Manager in preparation for external accreditation audits on regular basis.
Training will be provided in all production and non-production areas to develop a multi skilled individual.
