ROV/Drone Operator

Are you a hands-on technician with a passion for ROVs, drone tech, and site-based inspections? We\’re working with a well-established manufacturer in the Midlands who supply specialist liquid storage solutions to a wide range of sectors across the UK. As part of their continued growth, they are now seeking an ROV/Drone Operator to join their team and support in the inspection and maintenance of tanks nationwide.

What You\’ll Be Doing:
\” Attending client sites across the UK to conduct comprehensive underwater ROV inspections and interventions.
\” Compiling clear and detailed assessment reports (including video footage) within 48 hours of inspection.
\” Offering technical recommendations on repairs or full tank replacements where required.
\” Operating tank cleaning equipment to remove silt and foreign objects (e.g. gloves, debris).
\” Supporting marketing initiatives, including using drones for aerial photography and promotion of ROV inspections, cleaning, and refurbishment
\” Assisting in the training of ROV team members in drone operations as needed.

What We\’re Looking For:
\” Previous experience operating ROVs and drones (ideally with CAA qualification or similar).
\” Technically minded with a keen eye for detail and strong reporting skills.
\” Comfortable with UK-wide travel and working on-site in varied environments.
\” A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
