My client is a Leading Groundworks and Civil Engineering Company.
They focus predominantly on projects in the South of England and going towards the Midlands.
As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Contracts Manager to join their operational team and help shape the future of their projects across the M4/M5 corridor.
Ideally, the company are looking for an experienced individual that resides inside the Taunton – Bristol and across to Swindon areas as the vast majority of their projects are across those areas.
The Role:
As a Senior Contracts Manager, you\’ll take the lead on a portfolio of live sites – managing teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the standards our clients and our teams expect. You\’ll play a key part in day-to-day operations and longer-term planning, bringing your experience and leadership to support site teams and guide projects from pre-start through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
? Oversee multiple groundwork and infrastructure projects across residential sites
? Support, guide, and mentor site teams to deliver work safely and efficiently
? Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
? Work closely with the commercial teams to ensure delivery against programme and budget
? Take responsibility for quality, compliance, and health & safety on all sites under your control
? Contribute to pre-start meetings, tender reviews, resource planning, and monthly reporting
Requirements:
? Solid experience in a similar role within the groundworks or civil engineering sector
? A practical, down-to-earth approach with the ability to get the best from people
? Strong commercial and contractual awareness
? Excellent communication and organisational skills
? SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card)
? A full UK driving licence
