Legal Support Assistant – Swindon Office

Are you an organised and detail-driven administrator with experience in the legal world? Looking for a new challenge where you can thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment?

We\’re looking for a Legal Support Assistant to join the Business Team full-time at their Swindon office.

In this role, you\’ll play a vital part in supporting a team of lawyers, assisting with a wide variety of legal matters including company sales and purchases, shareholder agreements, commercial contracts, and employment law.

What You\’ll Be Doing

  • Accurately setting up new files and handling client on-boarding (including ID checks and compliance procedures such as anti-money laundering and Know Your Client).
  • Drafting and formatting correspondence and legal documents, and preparing final versions for completion.
  • Maintaining up-to-date client records within our document management system.
  • Providing diary and inbox management along with general administrative support to the wider team.

What you need for this position

  • Ideally 2+ years of admin experience in a legal environment (company/commercial background preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and confidence managing multiple priorities.
  • A proactive team player who builds trust and positive working relationships with both colleagues and clients.
