Talent Acquisition Partner – Deep Tech Start-Up
Location: London (2-3 days per week in office)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Stock Options

About the role:
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a key role in scaling the business while also getting the opportunity to broaden your skillset into People Operations. This is a high-impact, hands-on role that blends tech recruitment with the opportunity to grow within People Operations – an ideal opportunity for someone who sees their long-term career in People and Culture.
You’ll work closely with hiring managers across technical and non-technical teams, support company-wide talent initiatives, and play a central part in delivering a standout candidate and employee experience. This is a fast-paced role in a supportive environment that values ownership, creativity, and high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition – Tech Focus
- Source and engage top tech talent across Engineering, Product, and Applied Science by executing targeted sourcing strategies that attract high-quality candidates,
- Support scheduling and coordination for interviews, including candidate communications and feedback loops.
- Partner with hiring managers to define requirements and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
- Conduct initial screenings to make recommendations based on the candidates' skills, experience and alignment with company principles.
- Drive creative outreach campaigns and build talent pipelines using LinkedIn and other platforms.
- Support employer branding initiatives and EVP projects.
- Support ATS migration and implementation projects (e.g. testing workflows, migrating data, updating templates)
People Operations
- Prepare contracts of employment for new joiners
- Conduct right-to-work checks and support pre-employment compliance
- Deliver smooth onboarding experiences in collaboration with EA/Office Manager, e.g.first-day comms, systems access, and culture touchpoints.
- Support with maintaining data integrity across all people, systems and documentation.
About you:
- Hands-on sourcing experience across Engineering, and ideally Machine Learning and Product.
- 2 – 3 years of experience + in-house Talent/People Operations role (ideally within a tech startup/scale up or agency with a strong tech focus)
- Detail-oriented and highly organised, with exceptional communication skills, written and verbal.
- Interested in building strong candidate and employee experiences.
- Comfortable using tools like Slack, GSuite, LinkedIn Recruiter & GitHub
- Team player – willingness to “muck in” and help colleagues
