JOB- Quality Inspector
LOCATION- Sawbridgeworth
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £33,000-£35,000 per annum

We are looking for a Quality Inspector on a permanent basis near the Sawbridgeworth area to ensure products are manufactured according to customer specifications and that company Quality targets are hit.

The Quality Inspector will ideally have the following attributes:

  • 3 years experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Good knowledge of using measuring equipment
  • Self-motivated individual
  • Ability to interpret Engineering drawings
  • Right first time approach
  • CMM experience is a bonus but not essential
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Pro-active and flexible with willingness to learn
  • Methodical approach to work, good problem solver

The Quality Inspector role will involve:

  • Perform first-off, last-off, and in-process sample inspections to ensure product conformity.
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain comprehensive quality records.
  • Develop and execute programs for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
  • Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to validate measurement accuracy
  • Calibrate and maintain all metrology equipment in compliance with quality standards.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and validation of inspection instruments and tools.
  • Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and assist in implementing corrective
  • Contribute to the development and review of Quality Control SOPs and product specifications.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and outcomes.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support departmental and organizational goals.
