Seabury Securities (UK) Limited, the corporate finance advisory arm of Seabury Capital Group in Europe, is seeking to hire a full-time Investment Banking Off-Cycle Intern (6 months and/or more) to start as early as possible support a highly experienced and successful team of M&A bankers based in the City of London in the origination and execution of M&A transactions in the aviation, aerospace and defense sectors.

This is a paid internship and primarily located at our London office.

Role Responsibilities

  • Research sub-sectors or companies in the A&D industry as directed by senior bankers
  • Creating marketing and pitch materials
  • Aiding in the development of new business proposals
  • Participating in preparing complex financial analysis and financial models
  • Aiding in building M&A valuation models, including review and analysis of comparable companies and precedent transactions in subsectors of the A&D industry
  • Supporting live mandates in ongoing due diligence processes, including the creation and maintenance of virtual data rooms as well as aiding the Q&A process between buyers, sellers and their professional advisors

Qualifications

  • Currently in the final year of an Undergraduate/Master's degree program
  • Previous M&A experience at a top-tier boutique or bank
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Additional languages beneficial
  • Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills
  • Financial modelling aptitude and competency in valuation and financial analysis
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance fundamentals, basic financial analysis and investment banking transaction processes
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently in a close-knit team environment
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Right to work in the UK
  • May require travel dependent on company needs.
