Finance Director | £90k–£120k + Hybrid | High-Growth Tech Business
GTC have been retained to support a tech-enabled, high-growth PE backed business as they look to hire a Finance Director, a key operational leadership role reporting directly to the CFO, with a clear remit to develop and lead a high-performing finance team.
This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, change-driven environments and enjoys working across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing:
· Report to the CFO and play a key role in shaping the finance strategy
· Lead, develop, and grow the finance team, building a strong, collaborative culture
· Own year-end and audit delivery with strong control and reconciliation processes
· Drive cashflow forecasting and manage balance sheet integrity
· Partner closely with FP&A on planning, budgeting and performance management
· Oversee finance systems implementation and improve internal controls
· Deliver strategic insight on investments, M&A, and business performance
· Produce board, regulatory, and statutory reporting to best-in-class standards
What You’ll Bring:
· Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong post-qualification experience
· Proven track record leading multiple year-end or budget cycles
· Strong team leadership and coaching capability
· Confident communicator and trusted partner to senior stakeholders
· Experience with systems change and finance transformation
· Hands-on, commercially sharp, and comfortable with ambiguity
