Senior Registrar needed in North London Paying £20.57 per hr Ref 013084
Full time hrs on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities

- Accurately register births, deaths, stillbirths, marriages, and civil partnerships in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Take and record notices of marriage and civil partnership, ensuring legal compliance and attention to detail.
- Conduct and officiate at marriage, civil partnership, naming, renewal of vows, and citizenship ceremonies at both internal and external venues.
- Lead and conduct British Citizenship award ceremonies, acting as a representative of the service and the wider organisation.
- Act on behalf of the Superintendent Registrar/Registration Manager, including representing the service at public events and ceremonies.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service, ensuring all interactions are professional, empathetic, and efficient.
- Respond to enquiries via phone, email, letter, and in person, and manage appointment bookings and telephone interviews.
- Maintain accurate records using both manual and electronic systems, and issue certified copies of registration documents.
- Liaise with external bodies including the General Register Office, coroners, and other registration districts.
