Security Analyst (Corsham) Onsite, Full-Time | £41,423 + 10% DV Bonus (on clearance and deployment) Location: Corsham – Full-time, on-site (5 days/week) Security Clearance: SC required, DV preferred Contract Type: Permanent Base Salary: £41,423 Are you ready to step into a high-impact cybersecurity role? We\’re seeking an experienced Security Analyst to join a well-established Security Operations Centre (SOC) team in Corsham. This is a unique opportunity to be embedded with a government-sector client, working on the front lines of cyber defence to protect critical infrastructure and information assets. What You\’ll Do As a Security Analyst, you will: Monitor and respond to security alerts across a range of tools and technologies. Conduct impact assessments and develop mitigation strategies for escalated incidents. Support and improve existing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and processes. Stay current with evolving threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in cyber defence. What We\’re Looking For We\’re looking for a confident and capable individual with: At least 2 years\’ experience in a Security Analyst role , ideally in a SOC or equivalent environment. Proficiency in SIEM tools , system log analysis, and incident response. Strong understanding of data networks and vulnerability management . SC Clearance (essential); must be eligible for DV clearance . UK nationality only (sole nationality required for this role). Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CySA+, AWS, MS, SANS, CISSP ) are desirable but not essential-hands-on experience is key. Security Clearance Requirements This role requires current SC clearance and eligibility for Developed Vetting (DV) . To meet DV criteria, candidates must have lived continuously in the UK for the past 10 years and hold sole UK nationality .
