Assist the Head Chef in ensuring the smooth running of all kitchen operations at a prestigious Venue . As Senior Sous Chef in Waltham Cross you\’ll oversee all food production, from Main Kitchen dining to banquets and events. You\’ll help implement and maintain control procedures, including inventory and costing, and contribute to creating and updating seasonal menus using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and maintaining impeccable hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities Include (assisting the Head Chef): Overseeing all food production operations, ensuring consistently high-quality food for all resort outlets. Implementing and maintaining control procedures like daily production charts, inventory, and costing. Creating, maintaining, and updating menu specifications, recipes, and pictures. Maintaining and evaluating existing food concepts and developing new ones seasonally. Inspecting, selecting, and using only the freshest, locally and sustainably sourced ingredients. Maintaining food quality and ensuring consistency to exceed customer expectations. Interacting with customers and members to obtain feedback on food quality and consistency.What we\’re looking for: Proven ability to oversee all food production operations. Experience with menu planning, food costs, hygiene, and sanitation. A commitment to regular and reliable attendance with flexible shifts.
