Sheridan Maine is excited to partner with a reputable Bedfordshire-based organisation in their search for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to work within a supportive and dynamic environment, with the flexibility of hybrid working. Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant include: Process invoices and payments. Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records. Assist with forecasting preparation. Collaborate with other teams to collate financial information. Oversee account reconciliation for all clearing accounts whilst working to resolve any outstanding issues with the Customer Service Manager. Maintain accounts payable and receivable. Undertake financial analysis and reporting. To build, maintain and document all financial processes and procedures. Ensure the accurate application of sales tax on all invoices to guarantee proper tax reporting. Respond to internal and external financial queries.
