Job Description

Are you seeking a new role as Service Engineer in the dynamic and ever-evolving world of industrial machinery? This is your chance to join a forward-thinking company that specialises in the installation, maintenance, and repair of modern overhead crane systems.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead or assist in the installation and commissioning of overhead crane systems, ensuring precision and efficiency at customer sites.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks to guarantee the reliability and optimal performance of overhead crane systems.
  • Respond swiftly to emergency repair requests, troubleshooting and resolving issues effectively to minimise operational downtime.
  • Evaluate existing crane systems and implement upgrades or modifications to enhance safety and performance.
  • Provide technical support to customers, offering guidance on crane operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate service records and prepare detailed reports to ensure transparency and accountability.

What You Will Bring:

  • A qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead crane systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, coupled with excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, ensuring compliance in all tasks.
  • A customer-focused mindset with exceptional communication skills and a commitment to safety.

You will have current or recent experience as mobile engineer, field service engineer, field service technician, crane engineer, maintenance engineer, maintenance technician  

In Return:

As a Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's commitment to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to its clients and in return you can expect

  • Competitive salary of £35 – 40K + additional earning for travel and site work (£45 -50K)  
  • Good working hours Mon – Fri with an early finish on Friday
