My client a large global financial services brand is looking for an experienced Operational Resilience Process Mapping and Testing on a initial contract basis. The role is Hybrid based in the London office and Inside IR35. The purpose of the role is as follows: Support the Operational Resilience team in developing and maintaining a healthy, scalable and reliable process catalogue related to our Important Business Services across the five core pillars that make up the service – technology, third parties, people, property and data/information Understand the business requirements and drivers to transform them into meaningful processes that reflects the actual business process Work alongside teams across the business to constantly measure, review and standardise documented process maps Ensure integrity and quality is maintained through the change lifecycle of the mapping repository Proactively work with business subject matter experts (SMEs) to review and action feedback provided regarding changes to process Proven ability to work in a team and collaborate with multiple internal teams that are involved in the end-to-end process Track workflows and monitor deadlines to ensure individual process maps are signed off and approved within expected timeframes Monitor monthly schedules and escalate overdue business approvals which are not received by expected due dates Define and build on reporting requirements and implement data / MI for Operational Resilience processes to ensure owners have a clear view of the end-to-end mapping journey Rigorously document the methodology, inputs, owners and approvers of both mapping and reporting Own ongoing improvement in the mapping of key processes to provide an end-to-end holistic view of their health, identifying vulnerabilities to drive remediation plans Understand the vulnerability/s and downstream impacts which may impact the delivery of the service Experience in developing and leading scenario testing would be beneficial, to understand and determine resilience gaps and capabilities – including researching, framing, creating documentation, assessing options, facilitating sessions, challenging and documenting outcomes in a clear and compelling mannerRequired Skills: Experience in end-to-end process mapping, able to work with groups to understand processes, hand offs and dependencies, and capture them into clear usable mapping documents Experience pf data and analytics, through sourcing, capturing, consolidating and analysing data from varied sources and in varied formats to gain insights High proficiency in the use of different tooling capabilities; for example, Visio Professional and Advanced Excel Able to extract meaningful insights and identified opportunities as a result of the analysis and to present outputs in a clear and compelling way Strong relationship management skills, able to connect with varying groups to improve the quality of the data, reporting and mapping A strong level of curiosity, able to challenge respectfully, interrogate and continuously explore process steps, questioning how, why, where, who and what to drive a strong level of detail Confident, transparent, direct and open in communication – able to hold others to account, escalate roadblocks and drive forward with urgency and priority Highly organised and able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously through excellent time management and prioritisation Methodical with a strong attention to detail, ability to identify opportunities for improvement and put in place plans to remediate Proven ability to understand complex end to end process including technology, servicing and customer impacts Excellent project management and tracking skills to drive improvements over time Exceptional relationship management, influencing, communication and collaboration skills at all levels of the organisation A strong sense of accountability and bias for action, able to move things forward when they are stalling and maintain momentum Flexibility to quickly adapt to a dynamic and changing environment
