Job Description

Static BMS Engineer (Trend / Tridium)

Location: East London (Static Site)Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annumBenefits:

Company Overview:

My client is a leading organisation specialising in innovative BMS (Building Management Systems) and energy management solutions. With a strong portfolio of clients across commercial, healthcare, and public sectors, they are expanding their managed services division and seeking a skilled BMS Engineer to join their static site team based in East London.

Role Overview:

As a Static BMS Engineer, you will be based at a key client site in London, playing a crucial role in maintaining and optimising building energy systems. You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and commissioning of Trend and/or Tridium BMS systems, contributing directly to improved energy efficiency and system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on BMS systems
  • Execute remedial works and fault-finding
  • Provide technical support and liaise with clients on system performance
  • Commissioning and optimisation of BMS controls (Trend/Tridium)
  • Work collaboratively with the Managed Services Team
  • Support the development and delivery of energy-saving strategies
  • Participate in training programs to develop multi-system expertise

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with Trend and/or Tridium BMS systems
  • Background in BMS Service, Maintenance, or Commissioning
  • Strong understanding of HVAC plant and control logic
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and eager to develop technical knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • UK right to work & based within commutable distance to London

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Tridium Niagara certification
  • Electrical or mechanical qualification (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent)
  • Experience with other BMS platforms (e.g., Siemens, Cylon, Distech)
