Job Description

An established and fast-growing professional services firm is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Manager to take ownership of the corporation tax compliance function within its Liverpool office, paying £45,000 – £60,000 DOE.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Tax Partners and Directors, manage and develop a growing team, and play a key role in delivering a high-quality, advisory-led corporate tax service to a diverse client base.

Corporate Tax Manager Responsibilities

  • Manage the corporation tax compliance function for the office

  • Oversee preparation and review of corporation tax computations and returns

  • Review and manage tax accounting for corporate clients

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients on all corporate tax matters, including queries, updates and enquiries

  • Identify advisory opportunities arising from compliance work and collaborate with advisory teams

  • Supervise, mentor and develop junior members of the corporate tax team, including regular performance catch-ups

Corporate Tax Manager skills

  • Qualified, part-qualified or working towards CTA / ACA / ACCA, or ATT qualified

  • Experience within Corporate Tax in private practice

  • Strong technical knowledge with a proactive approach to learning

  • Keen to take ownership, develop people and contribute to a growing tax function
