Job Role: Field Service Technician Location: Lutterworth Salary: £40,000 – 45,000 per annum Benefits: Company Van, Private Medical Insurance, Travel Allowance Overview: Optima UK are presenting an opportunity for a Field Service Technician to be part of a company with a unique single-source approach, who to take full responsibility for projects, ensuring seamless execution with exceptional commercial advantages. Field Service Technician Responsibilities: Spending about 80% of your time at customer sites, managing your schedule to meet client needs. Travelling across the UK and Europe to provide technical support while adhering to strict safety guidelines. Handling the installation, commissioning, calibration, repairs, and troubleshooting of equipment. Working closely with clients to resolve technical issues and provide customized solutions. Using AutoCAD to produce and update electrical schematics, ensuring accurate documentation. Keeping CRM systems up to date and providing clear, detailed reports for clients and internal teams. Participating in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT). Overseeing contractors on-site and acting as the main point of contact for the business. Identifying opportunities for additional services or new business ventures. The Candidate: Has solid expertise in equipment maintenance, repair, and commissioning. Is skilled with AutoCAD and proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Is a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills. Can handle extensive travel and maintain a flexible work schedule.
