About The Role:Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our Advanced Manufacturing client for a Machinist/Fitter.You will play a crucial role in the assembly and fitting of components to produce machinery and mechanical assemblies based on technical drawings. Your responsibilities will include mechanical calibration of assembled machinery, utilizing both manual and CNC machinery to produce components when required, and maintaining meticulous documentation of design changes and calibration data. Additionally, you will provide general production support as needed.About You:Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience in machining, including both manual and CNC operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications:
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
