Maintenance Technician – Double Days
Poole
Salary Dependent on Experience + 20% Shift Allowance
Our client that design, build and service highly engineered products within fluid and motion control applications are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join their growing and experienced team!
Maintenance Technician and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on the plant
- Fault finding within the machine shop environment and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems as appropriate
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) checks on machines and equipment in line with the CMMS schedule
- Carry out complete site maintenance for all aspects and areas of the site, maintaining a high standard of site facilities and the overall site environments / appearance
- Conduct best practice and highlight opportunities for continuous improvement with regards to plant and equipment reliability
- Work in a safe and tidy manner in line with company policy
- Perform other such duties commensurate with the nature and level of the post as may be reasonably required
- Adhering to safe working practices
The ideal Maintenance Technician will:
- Experienced with providing maintenance to CNC machines
- A formal, recognised apprenticeship related to the trade endorsed by EITB, EMTA or AMA documentation or equivalent demonstratable experience
- Fully skilled maintenance technician with either mechanical, electrical or electromechanical bias
- Practical experience in fault finding within a machine shop environment, and the ability to repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- PC Literate
- Practical ability to fault find from electrical/mechanical drawings or PLC systems relating to hydraulics or pneumatics circuits (Desirable)
- Knowledge of modern maintenance philosophy (TPM / PPM / RCM) (Desirable)
- Hold an academic qualification either BTEC, ONC, HNC/HND or equivalent
Working Hours:
- 2 Weeks of earlies: Monday to Thursday 6am – 14:15pm, Friday 6am-12pm
- 2 Weeks of lates: Monday to Thursday 2:15pm – 10:15pm, Friday 12pm – 7:30pm
