C++ Developer | Tech for Good | Up to £70K | Mostly Remote – UK office

(Offices in Scotland and East England)

We are working exclusively with them to build out a new software engineering function, so looking to speak with C++ Developers that have experience with Visual C++ and a proven track record of developing real-time products, with creativity.

Day-to-Day:

  • Collaborating closely with product, architects, designers, and fellow developers to assess project requirements, establish project scope, objectives, and timelines
  • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying desktop and web applications using Microsoft C++ and .NET.
  • Designing efficient algorithms and data structures to enhance application performance
  • Deploying applications across multiple hosting platforms, ensuring proper setup and performance tuning
  • Working across multiple projects at once, with an aptitude to use creativity and bring new ideas to the team

About You:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Visual C++ and C# desktop application development
  • Experience in developing complex software solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Desirable: Backend development with Python
