Your new company An innovative and fast-growing manufacturer of autonomous vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity to support the business as they progress and scale. They design and manufacture class-leading craft, which are used in a variety of demanding environments to positively impact those that need help. This is a business that you would be proud to support, led by a high-calibre team. Your new role This is initially a contract (circa 6 months) to assess and improve Inventory and Materials Management / MRP processes. What you\’ll need to succeed It is essential that you can assess their current processes and systems (including MRP), engage with stakeholders to understand their challenges and requirements, then improve processes and system use to achieve an optimised solution. This business does not yet need to implement advanced ERP (SAP, Oracle tec), they need to improve the understanding and use of existing MRP tool, and the processes surrounding Materials Management. You will support leadership and system users in their adoption and use of the new process, and support as manufacturing volumes move from 10\’s to 100\’s. Experience of high-value / low-volume manufacturing is an advantage (eg aerospace / marine / defence / tech / electronics / medical devices or similar), and you will be as comfortable on the shop floor understanding the specific requirements of the production team, as you are in front of a screen, dealing with the complexities of the planning function.
