Our client is seeking a Research Manager, GPs to join their welcoming, diverse, and growing team based in London. This individual will work closely with a team of researchers globally and report to the Senior Research Manager, Fundraising.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities

Line manage a team of researchers to ensure the collection and maintenance of fresh and accurate data on the current and future fundraising activities of fund managers in private markets.

Project manage several fund manager rankings from end-to-end within agreed timetables and quality standards.

Project manage several quarterly fundraising reports from end-to-end within agreed timetables and quality standards.

Regularly download and quality check fundraising data, ensuring that quality standards are maintained across all products and outputs.

Maintain a highly motivated and skilled research team through regular performance management and effective recruitment.

Implement constant improvements in process management to enhance research operations efficiency.

Foster a proactive culture within the team to encourage data gathering directly from the market through phone interviews and email communication.

Promote a culture of inquisitiveness and curiosity, encouraging researchers to delve deeper into data and gather additional data points.

Oversee the growth of data products by ensuring new institutions are consistently added to the database.

Report the team’s progress on all stated objectives to the Senior Research Manager regularly.

Build and maintain strong relationships with market practitioners.
