Legal Secretary – Residential Property / ConveyancingLocation: BrightonSalary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum (DOE) + Excellent Benefits
Are you a Legal Secretary with a background in residential property or conveyancing?
A prestigious and modern law firm based in Brighton is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join their Residential Property/Conveyancing team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence to a high standard
- Audio typing and dictation
- File management and general administrative duties
- Scheduling appointments and managing diaries
- Handling property-related tasks including submitting search requests, ordering documents, and processing Land Registry applications
- Drafting contracts for property sales
- Managing post-exchange formalities and post-completion tasks
- Supporting a busy team of Fee Earners with day-to-day secretarial duties
About You:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary within a conveyancing or residential property team
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in audio typing/dictation
- Knowledge of Land Registry procedures is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
